A person in a foreign land *let say the event taken place is other country and not china as he is also a chinese national *representing ur own country fighting a lonely war without any moral supports / encouragement / advices ... of course the mentally will not be there ... so mani questions popping out in 1 mind and cant hardly concentrate ... somemore its such a big event in the world ...billions of ppl watching us when we finally fly our flag @ the Olympic ... other countries will take note of us ... a small lil dot on the map ...reputations gone ... pplz will asked... did we appreciated his hardwork during training ? thinking tat we take things for granted ... juz because the girls have a higher chances of winning back a medal and totally forget there is another person at tat time fighting real hard to win the war but becos of the uncertainties and doubts + last mins thingy of informing him/others ...the damages is already there ... the fighting spirit ... hardwork of all the demanding training ... and even in front of ur birth-country ... its over!!!! how mani chances does 1 pplz have to take part and remained tip top conditions and the challenges of new players who is gotten to be in another fews yrs more to London 2012 ?

In another 30 days+ i going to ORD le ... i had said tat i wanna to make a new blogsite tat combine everything together and it will be 4ever ... i had done some research and hopefully i can lauch ASAP ... as i dun realli had the time to do it as im busy doing ops duty till i ord, i realli wonder when will i have the time to do it... maybe i will think of a suitable add name tat every1 can rber and visit it ... *promise*
secondly i had to say sorry to those pplz whom i had been rejecting their invitation ..be it gathering or something else ... i dun realli have the time and i realli dun know why..maybe im lazy or maybe i jus wanna to give myself some needed rest at home as im away with family ... friends had not been calling / sms me for going out as they knew i cant go always. ...

There's saddness inside me when i going to ord as i cant see my junior ... the laugher we share and the sweats tat we all experience...as im the oldest among them, sometime i had to 'lecture' them and advise them ... toking to those young officers abt my junior problems and try solving it ..giving the best option avaible to them ... but due to some officers tat think they are the biggest rank, they lost the respect of every1 ...

Hmm...had been pondering whether i should have different add to blog in different part stages of my life, i might as well create a blog tat i will use for the rest of the yrs to come... currently learning how to use photoshop ( hope i can learn n edit photos ) as well as flash program...
hopefully the blog will be more pictures and not juz wordingz ..

The new add will be out soon i think...but it will be empty cos i wanna to make my own blogskin ..( Who know how to do it ya ? .. so troublesome with all the scripting thingyz ) and im considering to be in invite mode ( haber decide )

early in the morning today, i had experienced tat kind of experiences tat onli will happened to ur dearest when tasking to go to a mission ... althought its not dangerous, my heart juz sank when i saw most of my friends carrying all their fieldpack items and waiting to board the coach to their deployment site ... a kind of mission tat cant be experiences ... how i wish tat i can tell him tat i wanna to pull out frm my overseas trip ... i wan to contribute ... we shall fight this together ... its so helpless tat i cant do anything to help them... i wanna to cry ...the emotion is there ... seeing ur friends' back going into the coach 1 by 1 ... i realli wonder how are they now ... some will treat this mission as a nuisance to them but to some of us, its doing myself proud and my families proud ... all i could do is to do them proud during my overseas' Ex in Taiwan coming this 12nd to 7th may ...

Its been a long long time since last updated my blog...i was busy fighting for my rights since i returned frm Australia till now and i'm always been fighting a losing battle...so many things had happened to my coy ... i dun know wht to say .. i wanna to ORD faster to get out of there ...at 1st my coy was very family orientated but now...it was like been divided ... i tried to be myself but each time i lost to myself ... i lost the best soldier of the month twice and i will still do my best for the coy ... not tat i wanna the prize so much ... of course its a plus if i ever got it one day ...

life is so unfair ... becos of 1 person, the whole system had to change ...why ? why ? why ? he made use of the loop holes and he doesnt care abt the others.. he backstab his own batch of friends to get Xtra ... he claimed tat he still got OFF for the ex. but doesnt he knew tat pplz like me who are in the advance party to aust haber even claimed my OFF and he did ... tat why commanders think its weird and take away all our OFFz ... wht a "wonderful" world ...

when new man posted in, i vowed to take care of my junior..cos its so complicated inside the coy ya ..mani politic ..

i onced told my batch tat i do not wish to see pplz in their batch and we should mixed around ..made it family orientated..but somehow this is impossible...no matter wht i did ...its juz so impossible..pplz still like to be in their batch and called using batches...

Ever since the escaped of the J.I leader, life had not been the same in camp...we had to take turn to be on standby .. i was in the list for 300308 ..within 2 hrs need to reach camp once activated ya ... how i wish tat somehow pplz will catch him back...imagine S'pore was gotten to win the youth Oly 2010 when suddenly HE escaped on tat bidding day ? will Spore got the bid ? will Spore still be the same again ? * i doubt so ya ..they will be cursing ..in fact all of us will be cursing and swearing at HIM and the person who did not "take care " of him properly ... becos of him, i had to stand 4 hrs plus to secure our camp ... *COme on lar...how would a person who is escaping tried to enter an Army camp ? *unless he think tat the most dangerous place is the safest place to be ...

I had a BBQ session for the past 2 days ya ... had a mini one @ my backyard ya .. i was e chief of the day ...in fact for 2 days ... its been a long time since i had it with my family ... so early morning i go market to buy all the bbq food ... this is the last time i can eat seafood cos after the operation, i cannot eat for a few days or even weeks for scared of infection ... i dun know ya ...

i couldnt say no as its my cousin's wedding .. i was asked to help out and i did whatever i can do to help as this wedding means a lot to our Families ... its the Elderest Grandson 's wedding ...
the ambience was very romantic but the services suck ... saw a lot of the salesman as well as promoters and helpers of the shop, all they could said is tat, U had become fitter and darker .. when is ur turn ? ... all these has been going on and on ... even my parents hints to me .. hai .. this is life ... thinking back, i should be more initiative...my parents is getting old as well as my grandparents ... even my best friends can do nth abt it..hai...

Finally i'm back frm 39 days of eating sands ... Oversea training is very fun ya ...time passes very fast @ there but though i enjoyed and wished to take part as mani oversea training as possible, i very disappointed with the treatment tat we had received as we are the attacheded Coy to support them... we are like odd-job labours to them.. Imagine a Bn of more than 50+ pplz asking 2 pplz of the size of 25 to clear all the rubbish tat they had accumulated during clearing stores...wht the problem with them ya ...all i can said is tat i had gained a lot things frm the Ex.

2 more days and i will away for 7 weeks ... went to meet up with hongbing today @ bedok ... as usual i was been 'molested' by him ...lol...his friendliness is still there and its been 2 yrs since we had last seen each other... he was doing well and had bought a 3 room flat @ bedok Nth for 200K ... he had earned so much during his career le ya ... he paid all in cash including his furnitures ... i was amazed at the rate he was earning money and doing well in S'pore ...tomolo his wife to be will be in spore to stay put too... both are now PR ...he kept asking me abt poly friends thingy and i can onli told him tat SL n IR is doing well as for the rest..i not sure le ...treated me for dinner @ Mac and he even offer to buy me another set if im still hungry ya ... frm our conversation, he realli care for poly friends ya..he even planned to invite all of us over to his house for steamboat by this nov end ...when i come back frm overseas...

6 more days ... and i juz feel like i dun have enough zzz n rest ... will this be the kind of busy life tat all singaporean will encounter for their working days ? even in my ns days, i felt the tiredness and shaggyness within me and they was like tearing me apart and once i had stopped working, i will fall sick ... and this is wht they called workaholic illness sydrome...
went to attend a course when i was given OFF by my coy to rest well b4 i fly and made me to go for Ex. when i should be resting and free frm everything as im the advance party personnels ...and tomolo i will be booking back to camp when i'm off again ...this time is to attend CPR lesson !!! wht the freak !!! mon i was in camp den tue i was not in camp den today i had to attend courses @ Orchard Commtech den tomolo i will be booking in den friday book out again..den came sat, Coy Oversea Personnels gathering/cohension ...sunday i will be recovering frm partying den monday rest...tuesday off i go ...how i wish i was given more time to rest instead of doing more works ..

11 more days b4 i had to fly to Australia for oversea Ex. and my coy had added my name into another local Ex. tat will be my 7 Ex. since i posted to my unit ..more than any of my batch ppl ...
this week had been a fruitful and experiencing week for me ... i had I.V lesson for my CCAC ( a course related to medic ) i had gone thru Driver course and Signal Course ...i had attented 3 courses and i'm trained to poke needle into UR Vein if needed ... i had poke 7 times on 4 different person ...and i kanna poke 3 times by my friends which one of it resulted in serious blood cloth and its swollen now ... hence i missed my BN Anni celebration ...we had dragon boat today and i had to give it a miss ...hai ... got to know tat i had been nominated for BEST SOILDER for the mth of Sept ... been nominated is realli a boost to me as i know tat the commanders appreciated my effort and i had done my job well ..but this mth competition is a very good candidate too ... i dun think i can outstand him ... as i'm juz been promoted to CPL while he considered a Senior CPL to me and had been very humble and friendly ...
got to meet 2 of my sec sch friends juz now b4 i fly ... but when can i meet the rest of them ? after i come back ?

Had our once in 3 mths dinner for today ... went to Sun Tec City Lvl 3 for Jap Buffet ... each of us paid abt 40 and we had a great dinner ..the food was nice and especially the snow crab as well as the green tea ice cream ... its was the 2nd time we had our dinner together outside since july ...this time our PC was here will us ... he makan with us and we chat a bit ...actually is gossip lar ... so many thing to tok abt our new specs and pc ..went to chill out at esplanade ...

Finally im back ... nowadays i juz dun feel like waking up cos everytime i wake up, i know tat a busy day await for me to settle my thingy ... as I'm in charge of my Coy's store aka C.Q.M.S ( Company Quarter Master Section ) i had to pack and prepare the stores for every events my coy had to organise ... frm Live Firing to HLS run etc ... i alone stand alone ... not mani pple are willingly to do Sai Kang with me ... i'm not the kind who will asked pplz around to do ..i wan pplz who are willingly to do with me volunterly ...but i know its hard and my PS ( Platoon Sergent ) too ask me to ask ppl around to help out rather den Da ( do ) everything by myself ... i had to see their black face if they are force to do things and i dun like commanders to be involved ... i wan pplz who are willingly to strive and excel with me ...
i ask the senior CPL ..why did he choose me to take over such an impt role of the coy ? out of the 5 of us, who will u trust more ? as it turn out, it was me and hence i was selected ... for the 1st mths it was real hard to cope with it .. i had to r'ber everything in the coy...where they are kept and the quantities ... every new man/ spec come i had to prepare bunk to their store needs ... settling all these thingys realli drain me out for the day ... many of the senior CPL ask me..why am i like overloaded with responisbilites and i had to do so many things ... Cos i'm the CQMS i had to do my job ... hence i neglected my own health...im getting fatter ...when i'm not choosen as the under-study, i went to gym everyday ..nowadays, i had no time to do it ... further more, i've been PROMOTED to CPL..my last promotion le ... i had more responsibilites ... Coy's COS i had to do and i'm expected to be more knowlegeable for the config of laptop ...so as to teach the Juniors ... i like the responsiblities but i'm risking myself to get Extra as every mistake, i will sign the booklet on CSM's table...
This week i had a long weekend been granted ...tuesday den go back camp ...flyin off to Aust soon @ 15 Oct ...on the 13 Oct my coy had organsize cohesion and it seem to clash with CY's 21st bday party ... its been so long since last seen them ... look like i still cant make it again ...
hb called me today and me chatted quite long over the phone ... its so gd to hear frm him ...
last week was my grandfather's bday ...as usual, relatives ask me if i'm attached ... this realli make me wake up as my cousin is getting marry at late Nov this yr ...after i come back frm Overseas ... today i tok to my father ... he has aged and i'm still leading a single life ... *wonder if got any friends can intro ya ... haiz ...

This week has been a happening week for my coy ... we are involved in a very serious traffic accident on monday ...it chocked up the whole of KJE to PIE expressway ... the story is tat my friend was driving den the engine stored!!! *Suspected Air LOCKED ... hence hazard light was switch on but guess where is the veh stored at ??? at the 3 lane where the 4 lane is the exit...it was 9+ hence the traffic was very heavy and have a lot of long veh ... our veh was been hit twice !!! and the back driver had been stuck inside his long veh as the impact was too Huge !!! Lucky no one had died in the process ...
I had a very terrible dream ... a dream tat shock me out of my zzz and tat day, i almost had an accident while driving ... * Bad Omen ya ?

I dun know why ... i starting to feel very boring abt Unit Life ... I felt so useless when my backs is injured as i cant do anything ... i hated the feeling of looking at others to do things while i am been ordered to stay and ' STONED' at one side ... this in not me ... i was hoping tat i can contribute anything tat i can do but i jus cant ... went back to the Sinseh again ... uses bamboo container and 'Pop' my back... small flame of fire inside the bamboo container for a while den placed it onto ur body .. whoo!! the feeling... HIGH ya ... went back home and look at the mirror ... my BACK !!! so many Blueblack ya ... the diameter of the bamboo container !!! lol ... my back arent getting any better and i realli need a good rest ...
Got the money for my Silver ippt ... but i going to aim for a GOLD in my next window !!! i knew my standard is not there yet ..but i will keep trying and aimed for it ...
Hoping tomolo will be a good news for my palm...cos i going to have a piece of fresh removed frm my palm...i'm scared tat the strength and my ability to do Gym will be destroyed ... i'm scared ...

Now i'm realli looking forward to my Oversea Ex in this coming Oct till end Nov ... i had juz completed my Ex of 4 days ... not very tiring ya ... i had come to adapt it le ... but the thing is tat ..i INJURED my back again ... i was pulling generator and becos i pulled it too hard, as a result my back muscle .... * OUCH !!!! ... i Ask my PS whether i can report sick later or tomolo morning ... den during afternoon, i was been drove to the camp Med. Centre ... i was given Excuse heavy load for 2 days onli ... i was very touched when my platoon mates offered to help me to carry thingys and even banned me frm taking heavy things ... but after the last day of Ex for my detachment, ( there is still another one at there) PSs and PCs came to help my detachment to tear down everything ... onli the 3 pplz frm other detachment which had to stay another day juz stand there using eye power ... even my Mdm Pc came to help out too... when i saw her trying to carry the heavy line drum up to the vehicle, i offered to help her but was been order by her to stay put where i standing at and called another PC to help her to carry up the line drum...as for the 3 guys, one of them realli think tat i'm trying to avoid those works ... can any1 tell me how to recover a back injury within 2 days? its not a joke!!! and my career depend on it so as my life!!! very disappointed with the guy ...enough of him and btw , he got his retribution ..he lost his camp pass ...
as for today, my coy organise the H.L.S @ Pasir Ris Park ...6km, 10km and 16 Km run ... i ran the 16km in 1h 50mins ..which is not my very best cos of the warm weather ... i got calf cramp cos of the lose of salt intake very quickly as well as water thru sweat!! Mdm ran very fast and as a newly posted PC, she r'ber our name well ya ... Impressive and she realli lead by example ... frm ground to the top ...thou she jus 20 this yr and is a regular, her thinking is very mature unlike one of the PC whom of the same age as her ... I'm going to blog abt my Very Garang buddy in my coy ... sometime he realli gonr too over and sometime i just felt like wanting to quarrel with him and tok reasons into his bloody mind !!!
As far as i knew abt him in BMT, ( same coy and bunk as me ...so he is my bunk mates @ BMT and now ) he is good in his study and very serious abt everything he do ... so serious tat sometime it affected us and even got us into trouble..jus like today ...
we will told by our CSM tat we had to placed 2 of our uniform to soak the chemical for anti-mosquito b4 ICG ( Inter Coy Game ) but somehow, he placed his uniform behind our back and becos of this, we were punished by our PC.
PC" Can any1 tell me why u all nv put ur uniform on ur bed? "

PC" U all go and write a one page reason on why u all nv place it"
at that instant, we will very unhappi abt the things he does behind our back ... this is called spoilt market ... sometime, whtever thing he did, he juz did without thinking or assess his surrounding ... cant he think of the consequences tat the others will get ? wht is he trying to prove ? who is he trying to prove to ? There was once this incident which almost got me into a scolding by RSM ... as we are involved in our CO COC parade, all of us had to wear beret... becos we dun have any of our beret been prepared ( with the Crest on), me and he took Jockey Cap instead ... den i inform Snr Sgt and he told me tat i will surely be F up by the RSM without Beret ... den i ask him ...how ya ? den as we got our weapon, we went back to bunk to put our bionet into our cupboard ... who knows when we will abt to fall in, he took out a his beret with the Crest on ... feeling betrayed by his action , i confronted him ... after which i had to rush back to my bunk and ask a Snr to help me fixed my beret ...den came Rap with e rescue..his was really and he lent it to me for the parade ... i cant understand why must he did such a thing behind me ...making those small action and did everything and things tat he knew in 1st place without telling us? are we still his bunk mates?
and he also tok behind our back with the new man ... telling them " i 'm a very serious person so i take notes of every impt notes and unlike them, i wan to learn as much things as possible during my ns " wht the meaning of unlike them ? so we are the slacker ? or is he trying to prove something to us ?
OK...one young Mdm juz posted into our Coy as PC ..she is young and eager to know us well...den during bunk tok, he try very hard to leave a deep impression on the new female PC .. everything she said he juz agreed adn when tok abt her own character and way of thinking of serving her regular NSf, he suddenly pat one of the new man whom he talk to at night abt his view on his nsf ... tat is to learn as much things as possible...den he sad sth like this when he simle very cunningly and patting the shoulder of one of the new man " Izzit tat wht i told u ytd? is exaclty the same thinking as mine" den during self-intro, becos we got 1 new guy who had the same name as his, hence we asked him to use his christain name ... den its after for the new man whose name is the same as him, he suddenly as tap his shoulder and smile and said " why didnt you intro urself as HF too ? "frm the new guy body languge, he was taken aback by is sudden action and some of us ( 4 of us the same batch ) starts to look at each others and shake our head ... why did he had to do some much small actions ? i realli cant stand him ... IF u are me, Will you be able to handle this type of person who can "kill" his fellow bunkmates becos of his actions!!!

My unit soccer team has been eliminated thru penalty this monday ... frankly speaking this is a match where we can win..becos of tat we are too proud and we under estimated our opponenets who are made up of uncles .. and our manager refues to play me and my friend again on this match becos he wan to let those officers and senior spec to play rather than depend on us ( man ) ... sometime i juz feel like like walking out of the team ... he juz onli know how to talk BIG and actually he dun know anything at all ... I'm Juz Glad tat our team Lost !!! SERIOULSY !!! i dun feel any pain in within me and the feeling is not tat strong as Poly's team ..when we will elimnated becos of fighting incident...I hate the Warrant!!

I was supposed to replace my friend to go for DAYTONA to clock my 1000km for driving on the road but when i heard tat only 1 of us will be driving i told them tat i not going anymore ..cos so sian ya ..1 person will be eating lunch alone ...den on tat day, my friend who is driving, had one of the veh's tyre punctured!!! and becos of tat, he had to write a statment as well as been investigated cos he did not follow proper procedure and been saw by our MT line staff as they approached the nearest MT line to fix ... tat means tat no matter how near/far we are to our camp, we should call our MT line to help rather than depend on other camp site MT line ... juz like the MOVIE <> ... had to gone thru proper channel during an emergency ? worst still the veh broke down along bus stop ... do they realli want to cause a big JAM on tat road ??? i dun understand wht the heck is our camp MT line is thinking !!!

Today is Friday the 13 ... nth realli goes wrong for me except tat im late for my appointment with my family doc ... $30 worth of medicine !!! i'm SICK !!! Down with Serious Flu ...

I finally got a chance to play soccer for my Unit but somehow the Coach dun think well of me ... quite sad abt his decision ... maybe i'm juz not good enough ... cos i'm Juz a Lance Coporal ..and the rest playing are mostly regulars or Official ... maybe as an Encik, he trying to win their favour by fielding them ... there was at one point tat i wanna to withdraw frm the team ... i realli hated his way of management ... " Becos 6 1st team players are not playing today, hence you all had a chane to play today" i took my shoe bags and off i went off ... was called back by some of my unit friends ... den off i went to impress the Warrant ... but i was injured again as opponents play very rough ... i was indeed "Injury Prone" a nick i earned since Sec sch ..becos of the kind of committement i put into each game...

Ytd i had a very simple bday celebration with my family ... as i cant celebrate my bday, we juz had a simple dinner @ Chomp Chomp ... Went to ASTON STEAKHOUSE to have our dinner ... den went to have a lil shopping around there den off we go home ... i had supposely to meet AH for movie but becos of running 12km and had dead legs, i decided tat its better to rest at home after dinner ... as usual, my father gave me "Ang Bao" for my bday and as well as Gov and SAF giving me too ... GST REBATE CREDIT as well as NSF $50 Increment of Allowance !!! tat means i'm a lil richer for this mth ... ^-^
Kew...oh ya...i did sth which i think is funni to my friend's back when he is playing DS @ Bunk ... i planted my palm onto his back and draw my palm with a pen on his back... at 1st he onli felt something sharp which irritate his back and asked me to stop it den i juz told him to cont. to play his DS ... after a few mins, one of my friend came to look at wht he is playing and he notice the palm figure behind his back ... he describe to him the palm mark and went to see the figure with his mirror ... he yelled out my name and b4 i could react, he came chasing me around the bunk with a black tape...saying tat he will tape up my hand and draw his palm on my back too ... he chase me to and for around 20mins b4 i surrender and let him draw his palm on me ... he choose to draw at my stomach aftertat ...
There is so many movies which i wan to see for this month ... Transformers ... Harry Potter ... etc ... too gd to miss ... and tomolo i will be having soccer matches competition...hope tat i can survive tomolo...cos i going to throw everything into the game juz to win the match ...

On thurs, i had my 2nd IPPT attempt ... i got a Silver for it and its a dream come true to me and b4 i run, juz by reading back the sms, i knew tat i can do it ... buts its still a bit away frm my best timing of 10.30 sec @ NP ...i onli got 11.17 sec ... i need to improve...and i knew i can do it ...
Received a bad news is tat the pplz there recordrd my IPPT 2.4 as 12.07 and tat means my silver had fly off becos of their mistake...i realli hope tat i can get my 1st Silver den Gold during NSF day ...hope it will be ok...
Went to East coast Park to clock my 12km run for the 21km army run ... i saw the sheld tat we had our BBQ during poly days ... it bring back fond memories ... as i jog passed it, i refresh everything and as if i'm watching myself and all the pplz eating and playing inside the sheld ...its was so fun down there ... we share a lot of craps down there and as well as mans-talk with Ir when we are cycling @ nite ...
I realli hope tat all my friends is doing well in their studies and those serving NS ...

Finally after 1 yr plus, i had passed the GVCD to Ir!!! went to meet him up at PS today...sat inside BK and we got a long catch up to deal with. We chat abt 1 hr plus and off we went to search for his sis bday present ... in the end, i was the one purchasing things for my book in ..lol!
I realli hope tat he will like the Content inside the GVCD ya ... he seemed to forget a lot of pplz's name ...nvm..the GVCD will help to refresh his mind once more ... :-)

Had my 2nd Coy cohension yesterday @ sentosa ... we had games of beach soccer, Volleyball etc ... till the end of the afternoon, we had Sakae Sushi for our lunch !!! Yummy!!! Salmon !!! Tuna !!! Finally its all over!!! Exercise is over and frm now till july, I will have nth to do @ my Coy le … I had to clock 1000km for my driving before I can take a test for MD veh. I was ready and excited by the prospect of driving tat cool veh…with a SAT at the top of its head…Coolz ya !!!
Oh ya … heard tat I will be spending 36 days @ Aus this coming year end becos of the major ex. Its gotten be a huge scale and involved lots of divs too. Ok enough of tat… pplz I will buy gifts if I’m going ya …I got too many broken promises le …especially those who had passed their 21st bday … how can it considered it to be a 21st bday w/o a proper gifts frm friends! *I hope tat I can get the best gifts for u guys but it will be the last proper gift for those I haver seen …cos its time…
Here come sat, I got a sms frm AB tat there will be a soccer match … I immediately reply him tat I will come cos its been a long time since I had last play soccer with my friends…and I really missed him…I missed all my friends!!! But sadlly some juz aren’t meant to be friends..cos we had lost contact with each others.

Once again i can onli describe this week as super ultra busy ... why ? cos i had been preparing for my another EX. This time i was deployed inside forest !!! OMG !!! tat means i going to 'donate' blood le ... wanted to buy the electrical operated fly racket but...OUT OF STOCK le ... Bloody h*** ... den i went NTUC to buy 5 boxes of mosquito coils den 1 repellent ...
On Friday i was asked to draw L/R ... had a great time driving around ... especially conveying ... den the 1st L/R was lost !!! *LOL!!! finally got to book out den went super late dinner with SL ... Met him up @ Chomg Chomg ... its been a long time since last met up with him le ... i think got 7 mths le ... so long ya ... had a great dinner with him ... although its a bit Ex for 2 of us but its the purposes and the reunion ... forget abt the cost of the dinner ...its worth it ya ... SL was still very chatty and lively ... so full of energy ...as for me, i was half alive when met up with him ... we tok abt almost everything ... understanding each other vocation in NS and juz den SL sighted and asked me why i didnt .... i was stunned by his question...its been so long le he still bring it up ya ... LOL !!! as its was already midnite and my last bus had end, i walk with SL to AMK den take 132/ 25 home ...
Sat - Rap's bday ... went to his condo to help out ...he was alone settling all the bbq stuff ...den me n heng took a cab and rush to his condo @ TPY we ordered pork chop frm PH parent's western store @ Bedok blk 511 ( free Commercial ) heng said tat he was an expert in bbq and hence he chase me again and set the fire on his own, 1 hr gone..2 hr hour and the fire is still not there ...lol!!! Stv took over and fire was up ... Rap really got a very large group of friends who party, smoke and drank ... as my life compared to him, i felt mine was so much more boring and i had decided never to smoke party and drank ...LOL!!! during the conversation, PH talk abt tat our grp of ns friends got some rich guy inside...den he suddenly asked abt me... wht type of house i live in...i realli hate to ans this question, cos each time i ans it, i well always get the same remark ... the house doesnt belong to me ... i'm not the one who has the capability ...its my parents ... i realli hope tat i dun have to gave stern warning to those pplz who call me "ah sia kia" (Rich guy) i realli felt very uneasy cos friends will start to treat me differently and making use of me ... i could hardly breath !!! Finally May is coming to an end ... so busy that i forget a lot of thingy which i will always be r'bering others bday ...
Beginning with the 1st t0 3rd week of may is my 1st ever major Ex. hooking up for 1 week den time to go to the deployment site to hook up again ... testing all the system again and again ... so boring and mentally tiring ... maintaining the sys under hot sun ... my pimples are popping up and some of my platoon mates had FOOT ROT which is very terrible as they had to endure it ... not to scratch as well as AIR it as much as possible ... 2 of them had dropped out frm the COC parade which i'm unlucky to represent my COY while others had to help form up a marching contigent ... *skin is peering off rote now ... glad to attain a SILVER straight after EX. for my ippt ... Hope to gte GOLD soon ...*buts its hard ...SBJ n 2.4 = HAI !!! btw..my PC is nut ya ...juz came back frm an EX. and expect me to go ippt ... den after tat is technical handling test ...wow piangz ...backs and arms pain ya ... ok lar... den come to this week which is the 4th, i had my ATP shooting and i got 17/28 which becos my nite shooting, i should be able to get MARKSMAN le ... hai ...drove L/R around the camp to do S.K ...i hate all 4 new men tats in my bunk ...no initiative to switch off lights when he is the last to zzz cos reading Harry Potter ? kaoz!!!

My driving course has officially ended today ... 2 days of unimog driving islandwide as well as X-Country driving ... i was lucky to get a good D.I ... he is ok unlike my D.I who will F me upside down for no reason...for 2 days, i drove about 120km ... i execute my own parking method ... i use 6th gear to turn a bend ... lol ..a lot of things which are not illegal on the road ya ... but who cares, i got my license and i going to drive like nobody business ...
Driving up uneven and hilly terrain was SHIOK sia ... juz like roller coaster ...of on a boat with strong wave ... left right ...left right ... D.I started complainting den i drove properly ... FUN ya ...
Sunday onwards got to go back unit le ... my 3rd course during my NS stinct ... *will there be more to come ?

Today is the last time tat we grp 45 had gathered @ the Classroom ... 40 of us had passed out frm the STC as qualified driver of Class 4 License holder. the rest of the 12 will be battling it out today for their TP. * hope tat my friends will pass today...
Back at the classroom, a lot of us was filled with mixed feeling ... how we wish tat we can stay together ... nv had to pass out frm there... cos we had been together on course for 7 weeks ... tears n laughters we all shared ... the feeling within me is so familiar when i passed out frm BMTC ... instead of parent putting my jockey cap for me, grp in charge gave us our cert personally and shook our hand ...

My military driving is finally coming to an end... I've PASSED my CLASS 3/4 License ... So happy ... this week as usual so many thing happened during training ...

failed my 1st time as i forget to engage gear 1 when moving off and thus Major Faults ( too nervous)
Committed another major fault when i'm turning right. ( Failed to look far and thus turned into centre and extreme right lane)
17 pplz passed their 1st test and the whole level was like not the same as before ... all zzz @ 9 rather than the 1030pm. ( All pplz feeling low )
Felt so unfair when a guy tat i hates passed his TP when the Tester pulled his handbrake during parking as he is about to hit the Tonner next to him. ( SUCK! )
Thur - 10 more pplz passed their test ... this time really look like a ghost town back at our Bunk.
Friday, i got the most unlucky tester and i'm the 1st driver ... Friday the 13?
Road Condition - Heavy Shower + Cant See Ahead + Cant see Lane MArking + Side Mirror's view been obstructed by the rain...

I'm so tired ... driving frm West to East ... Expressway somemore ... maintain @ 50km/h somemore ... sian !!!

Something happened on this very week tat Shock the whole platoon during camp ... myunit buddy suffered a very bad from his bed as he suffer FITS! during zzzing ... the way his bunk mates describle to me how he look when it happened realli frightening ...
1st they heard a loud thud sound ...den they discovered he laying flat on the floor ... they switched on the light after one of them failed to wake him up...at this pt of time his eye was wide open and facing down on the floor. after they flipped him over, his head was bruised and a bit of blood can be seen ... he was staring into the air and nothing can be done to wake him up except to wipe away for him ... form was coming out from his mouth secs later ... one of them quickly called the COS and the BOS ... during this time, he had nv blinked his eyes once and he was like staring hard at sth with his blood eyes!!!! This incident took him 4 hrs to come around and realised only when he was at TTSH...becos of his conditions, he was OOC.
FInally passed my Highway Situation test ... happy ....
Started my 3 Ton veh driving and its SUCK!!! ... cant realli get used to drive such a big machine ...
almost had traffic accident during thurday ... so scary ..had to jammed the brake!!! juz becos i had a class 3 license, my DI was stressing me and pushing me real hard to pass on 1st attempt ...
1 more week and i had to take my TP ... hope tat i can pass ... im going to F my DI when course end...

This week has been a hectic and unforgetable week for me ... so many happened on this week ... glad tat i had passed my landrover assessment. i'm going to list down and give a brief detail for each incident...
1) Passed Defensive driving - my instructor who is an ex-staff sergeant played a trick on me while i am drving around the circuit. I had to react according to prevent any accidents. He is a B****** sia ... drive so fast out frm a junction and almost hit my L.R! Luckily i passed after i Jammed the brake in time!
2) Passed L.R Assessment - got 10 pts for my test. reacted quite well outside the public road.
3) My unit mate fell down frm his bed twice in a week. 1st fall quite ok..onli body ached! den the second, blue black eye as well as toe kanna cut and chin bruised. The most funny things is tat he doesn't know tat he has fallen off frm his bed.
4) 1st time i really enjoyed driving landrover around public road. Lane change, Over-take, Speeding den slow etc
5) Dun realli understand my instructor .. im starting to get pissed off by him and each day im been F by him!!! Kept using my class 3 license to tok abt me ... my driving skill ... my reaction ... my alertness ... wht the h*** ... told him upteens time tat i had not been driving for the last 3 yrs plus ... told him until i gave up ... yesterday becos i beware of a mum cyclist with her child who is crossing the zebra crossing and coming to a stop at the pedestrian stand ... i saw her and i stopped at my turning right point. i juz wanna to make sure tat she did not cycle into the path which i'm going to turn to becos of tat, my instructor F me upside down and shouted at me.. "I DUN UNDERSTAND WHY U (me lar) CLASS 3 HOLDER CAN DRIVE SO SLOWLY" i realli hated his F Language towards me ... throughout the journey i juz kept very quite and somehow i dun wished to talk to him. He is an Indian guy. He is the one of the instrutor who will F his trainee upside down. Yesterday is my limit and today he asked me if i wan to do guards duty cos i and my buddy arrived late cos our course in chance wanted us to fall in and we waited for more than 5 mins den we fall off by ourselves. by the time we reached our trainer, Both of us got F by him... my buddy who is a Sergeant doesnt dare to explain to him den i explained, In the end, i got F by him...

So Loooooooooooooooooong nv update abt myself le ... so busy n extreme tired during this 2 weeks of my driving course ...
wake up at 5am everyday and its 5.5 days of training n theory!! Land-rover realli cant make it on the road...slow and old ... cant hardly change lane and its hard to change lane ... imagine having to change during peak hours and all the salon cars was like rushing to their workplace, i faces many difficulty when executing my lane changing skill...next week will be my land-rover assessment test ..hopefully i can passed den learn 3 tonner ... hope to get back to my unit ASAP...dun realli like my 3rd house ya ...
theres so many things to talk abt @ there ..but i will juz end here ...too tired le ...

Going to new camp @ Sembawang soon for class 4 driving license !!! dun know if i can really passed @ 1st try !!! i wan to be the 1st to come back to my camp as after tat the feedback abt tat camp, i shall juz be myself and do my best ...
Learnt a lot thru hands on and mistakes ... LCP tat i'm attached to is not tat 'Zai' after all...i think i'm better than him ... after making so many mistakes, i can really learnt frm it ... his name was mention by 1st Sgt during R.O ... maybe becos he wan to show off wht he is capable off to new man like me, he make a lot of mistakes tat he shouldnt be making or he hadnt been practising well enough ... busy busy and busy is all i can describle my weeks @ my camp ... got to book out on thurs as it was my formantion's day anni, i went for annual business dinner with my dad and plus my mom n sis. was asked to sit with the table with Ah Mok Boss and they are toking alien to me...juz ate my food and enjoy it ... lol ... the Combo drive of my lappy spolit le ..cant read any CD/ DVD and i spent my whole day outside searching for replacement ... Sim Lim Square = HAI !!! cant solved my problem until i went back to Kovan ... went to Hougang Polyclinic and totally look foreign to me ..forget how to get medicine le ..lol ...my sis went to take out all her wisdom tooth ... and to my amazed there are so many pplz same vocation as me ... wht a small world after all ...

Happi Chinese New Year Every1 !!!
Today been a busy day for me..zzz @ 2am+ den woke up at 7am... had to wash the whole of the floor with tat machine ... so tiring...somemore my neighbour who is my family doc had lots of relative coming to his house in such early timing !!! their cars are parked juz outside my gate and had to be very careful when using the machine to wash the floor as they had clean & wash their car since i'm outside washing floor too ... took me 2 hrs plus to wash the floor ya... break 3 times for tea break as i had to soak the floor with chemical for easier removal of the stain!!! den after tat went back to my room to clear & tidy my super messy room ... took me 3 hrs juz to tidy n re-arrange my cupboard setting. .. i had displayed all my comic out but kept all my photo album...Coming wed i gotten to have a new set of complete comic to add to my collection ... as well as some meaningful / inspiration book. i going to zzz le ...

Went to My Btn's HLS run ... 5Km run was like running 2.4 ... reached there as eraly as 6.30am den walk n walk till 7.30am den reached the bloody spot!!! OMG !!! nvm ya ...
realli enjoyed ourself @ ECP ya ... had games of captain ball ... trashed the cadet!!! *Rockz!! den v.s our neighbour ... 8 Sierra ...drew the match and both are the winner !!! ...had formation taking and tats end our day ... went to bedok for lunch and met some1 tat i dun wish to see ...
CONNARD !!! he went all the way to find me after spooted by him at the hawker centre ... he realli keep tracked with the rest of the guys ... he even knew tat CC and KW was @ the same Institute as me ...but different courses lar ... got to know tat he is a specialist too ... tat means of all the G5, i was the onli ..... MAN !!!! bloody hell ... why am i the onli one ? hai !!!
Later going out with Btn's chinese new year celebration as the coporal are back frm course ... We are one big family !!!

Quite Happi abt my posting... i'm back at the same place .. and its going to be 1.4 yrs plus in tat camp le ... though i must be stand by 24hrs/ 7 , i'm happi and relieved abt it ...
i will be going for driving lesson as well as overseas training too ... great vocation ... thought i still hope to get into command sch ...
Got to know tat i'm the second best in the platoon as we had our very 1st gathering since posting ... Sgt told me tat i'm in the no. 2 position for the whole platoon... realli happi abt tat becos of my ranking at the sch ... tat wasnt my real position as they dun know my real name and had my marks been pull down by tat appraiser and i'm OUT for the command sch ... now i will be aiming for the best soilder of the mth if possible ... or get the fastest promotion than the others 5 who is the same as me...tat is same enlistment day...
Next week going to run dun know how mani KM ... 5KM in 20mins on friday ... *SLOW YA ...

Its been a struggling and Nervous week for me ... my new posting is out and i will serve my NS for the remaining of my 1.5 yrs @ there ...
Was fortunate tat i did not got to an active unit but my new unit will also be very xiong but not as the 3 sig.
On thursday, during my interview by my PC, i was told tat i was among the few for consideration for the best trainee award but somehow i let the commander down becos of my result ... Test result ... i cant afford to look to the Com. screen for a lot time and i dun have any IT background so its a struggle to me ... but i know my ability and so are my Sir. If not, i would be appointed as so many ICs appointment during this 7 weeks @ the Insitute !!!
A lot of my mates lost their spirits when they knew tat they are going to 3 rather than 2 ... some become depressed and cried on the spot and some of them are not in their usual self... keeping very quiet and kept to themselves the whole day... was so worried when i saw tat... had a urge of going to ask commander to let me exchange with him ... knew tat he is worried for his mum at home if he was to go oversea for exercise ... but all i can do is to offer him my tissue to wipe away his tears ...
same as my last day at the school, today we exchange hug with each others for the 1st and very last time... emotional day ... though i'm happy tat i'm in 2, i still do not know where will i end up in/who in 2 ....cos onli 6 pplz will be together while the 2 will be in other coy...i really hope tat i will be in the 6s...

I will be busy preparing my pass out final exam within this 2 weeks starting frm coming tues .. cos i'm given day off after doing holiday guard's duty ... 24hr duty is not a joke ... its very mentally tiring after tat ...
I'm now the Platoon IC for the rest of the course ... and i got 3 appointments now!!! ... hope tat i can managed my study as well as managing my men well ... its hard to continue a job tat is left behind by a responsible IC and now its up to me to keep the stardard or even higher than him ... finally had my 1st run since passing out frm the SCHOOL ... how i wish tat i can jog around as a trainee @ the 'Sec Sch' ...
Bought psp le ... woohoo ... and my sis wan a genie pig as a present ... search the whole day during fri and sat ... finally found.. but not cute de ... to me, if i set my sight on it, i will try and buy it immediately ...
I dun realli like to study abt IT ... how i hope tat i can choose to drop tat subject ...

Long weekend ... Wed onli half day ... and we play stupid games ... I hate it !!!!
Study n more study ... imgaine tat u were told to 'help' up and den when u came back, realised tat almost every1 had already finished doing their own study ... den its dinner time and some pplz are complainting tat they are hungry ... .. F them sia ... where is the platoon unity?
I'm the bedsheet IC and IC is the one to instruct pplz to do thing...ok..came tuesday ..Laundry day ... told the platoon i need 'volunteer' frm each bunk to help settle the bedsheet..sadly all pretented not to hear me ... den i juz took the keys of bunk 1 and left ... stopped by some1 in y bunk as he said tat he will help me ... den pplz start to come and volunteer themselves.. wht the heck !!!
Same as in SCHOOL, there is some1 i also dun like inside it ... heard tat his mind is very weird frm his School platoon mates ... shall wait and see

Guess tat DEC 2006 will be the lowest point of my life !!! when i saw my platoon mates, i was like ... wht the H*** !!! is not abt showing disrespect to them, its tat almost 90% cant make it de ... some came frm Pes C Coy ... while i got 6 pplz frm my C-coy one of them whom dun even know how to march properly since leaving the 'School' ! i almost got into a depression when i saw them all ... when they took off their clothes, WOW SIA !!! all got big stomach !!! and they love to eat snack @ nite ... my course is all abt study in front of the Com. and almost no Exercise at aLL!!! i cant believe tat ... during the PC interview, the PC was surprised tat i was not in the command school tat i wan to be !!! a place where all agree tat i should go ... further more, not to show any dis respect to my mates now, maybe they are unfit all they juz love to eat at nite, maybe they have more brain then me ... study is really not my forte ... i juz wan to post to a vocation whereby there is more physical challenges in front of me and not mentally !!! Staring in front of the COm for whole day... and lectures !!! OMG !!! MAD MAD MAD!!!

went to marina south to makan after watching Eragon ... AH was teaching J along the way how to cut lane while driving ... a journey tat needed less than 30mins become 1 hr becos he kept asking j to change lane den suddenly turned here n there ... unclear instruction given ... if he had become a SIR, his men shld be dead by then ... LOL!!!

I'm on Block Leave mood ya ... finally completed my BMT ... now is to wait for my posting to new unit and to know new pplz as well as pplz whom i will be serving my reservice with.... juz like wht my friends had told me... tat was a emotional day ... a day to mark the end of our BMt as well as friendships? we had gone thru hardship together and memorables events ... its so hard to graduate juz like tat ... i had to control my tears frm flowing out when i saw my lil sis running towards me and my mother putting on my jockey cap for me ... cant hardly describe the feeling ... doing the infantry roar ... singing infantry song ... I'm so pissed off and hugely disappointed by my own performance as IC during the 2nd SIt test...i've failed as the IC as the mission failed becos it is the 1st for the day!!!
When i saw tat everyone's action was moving veri slowly, i knew tat i'm going to F by the Sir...
Everyone's mind was like still in zzz mode for the 1st 2 missions same as yesterday, we failed the 1st failed and when the minds start to wake up, we complete our mission on time!!!
Coming to think of why i had failed as a leader,the summarise points are :

Its the 1st mission of the day and i did not pushed my ppl to wake up !!!
There are 1 pplz in the grp whwo do not listen to me and kept suggesting different methods when i'm executing my own methods !!! <>
2nd IC was not making decision and cooperative with me although we are the same platoon and we both knew each others. <>
2nd IC apologise to me after the mission as i told him wht i feel abt him...and he realised tat he was presurrizing me during the mission which are not at all going to help to complete the mission as my 2nd IC ( maybe his mind is still zzz mode while i forced myself to wake up and think of solutions with the team )

I'm not cut to be a leader ... no command school for me ... as i onli been made once IC in 2 days and my mission was F up ... my interview with the accessor for the 1st day lasted the longest in my detail and when i go back to platoon level, my bunkmate was cheering me out and they listen and encouraging me ... i'm feeling real down for the whole of sit test ...maybe i should listen to AH ... let go of been a leader when the time is up ...

this is the second time that we had been given long weekend ... cos is family day @ the school on sat ...
SIT test will be next for the following weekend...tat means my weekend will be eat up by the sit test for the coming week...
Tuesday will be my ippt ... last test i failed my 2.4 and chin up ...now hopefully cna passed my 2.4 and i can have early book out ... aiming for a silver this time... chin up i can do 8 after field camp and tat mean having to chiong for my 2.4 ... improved my timing and get a 2 pt for it...
While i am still suffering from the TK cough...at least i'm getting better after visiting doc again..
*hope to achieve a silver and early book out for the coming ippt...

Yox...finally get to rest for 4 days before book in again ... tk cough aren't getting any better ... since back frm field camp, i got cuts everywhere as well as bruises ... managed to survive the field camp...experienced a lot of thing once never had ... baby wild boar, powder bath etc.
i got lot to say but is restricted ...so too bad ...
lost 4 kg onli ... so sian...but managed to do 5 over graft? chin up ... tat means i can do 10 chin up le... was told tat i can have early book out if i get a pass in the next IPPT test...i going to aim for silver in my second time of my life!!!... Bless me ya!!!

Everyday there are more pplz getting sick ..is it becos of the current haze ??? pplz coughing and complainting chest pain ... cant zzz realli well @ nite ... and the next day will be a challenge everytime .... managed to run my 2.4 but failed by a few sec becos i was realliy coughing realli badly ... wanna to fall out but i'm glad tat i can finished the 2.4 ... got 5 pt for 2 events and with the rest either 2 or 1 pt ... hope to improve when came back frm the forest next week ... recharged myself and chiong le ... i realli needed rest badly...cos of the air ...making me coughing real bad ... nv knew tat some1's popularity is so bad ...hated by all sections ...
lost 4 kg since enlisted ... and S kept telling me i need to lose more weight for my own good...hope by the time i passed out, i can become 60....*lol ...i'll keep working hard on it ...

on 280906, a day i will not forget as on this day, i hit my head with my own 'wife' ...and blood came doozing out frm my eyebrown area ... becos one of the section mate told me tat it as a lot of blood, i become uneasy and dizzy after tat... for a few second, i was unconsious .... section mate called for commander and they quickly took the stretcher and hurried me to the MO ... during the journey, i was already waking up ... the doc wanna to keep me 24hr for observation but onli till 8 hrs ... i was discharged frm medical office ... buddies told me tat i had frightened them as my whole body and lip was pale and white !!! and i had affected their lunch as they couldnt eat and worried abt me ... very grateful to those who had show me care n concern after tat incidents...wht a way to intro myself to them...as they saw me and will ask how i am ... great bunch of buddies except for a few...*lol
